Head lice hate!

Headlice. It's enough to make you itch. No seriously. If you're a Mum then you're already itching your head furiously by the mere mention of the bastards.

My 7 year old daughter has come home with headlice. It's not a surprise. School holidays are over and the school is ripe with head crabs. I mean headbugs.



I'm rather over them to be honest. Every time my daughter gets them it means my 3 year old boy will aget them and then I'll get them and then it's CODE RED and everyone and everything needs to be washed, combed and CHEMICALLY TREATED LIKE IT'S A MAJOR DISEASE.

Phew. Luckily I've got a system. Treat everyone's hair, shave Master 3's hair shorter, wash all the bed linen and go to boyfriend's house for 2 days to destress. It hasn't worked successfully yet but you have to keep doing it.

Forget zombies. Headlice should be in a game. They never truly die and their numbers can be almost as persistent and annoying as a flock of hungry seagulls when you have a bucket of chips. That's pretty dangerous in my book.


I really wish there was another way to deal with the buggers! Cue gamer daydream... PEW PEW!

I really need to focus on blogging properly with topics and thought. Today just isn't one of those days.

Hangover Panda

I did a wee bit of drinking on Saturday night after a bad afternoon. I honestly just needed to stop thinking and feeling any kind of emotion.

I tried some Creaming soda flavoured vodka thing and the new Vodka Cruiser Electric pink flavoured drinks. Yes I drink girly drinks. I'm a girl remember? The Electric pink vodka smelt lovely but I might like to point out was 37% alcohol and should NOT be drunk straight. Shot glass or no. It's like your tastebuds are exploding with fireworks (not good) and is guaranteed to make you see your dinner (also not good). I saw mine and it wasn't pretty. Pizza never comes out the same way.

Moral of short story: Drinking, while giving you the ability to not think about useless things like your shopping list for the next week or the cobwebs behind the fridge you need to clean, WILL make you do stupid and quite hilarious things. I think the most I got up to was singing and air drumming in the car to Cold Chisel. Yes. I became a bogan for a few hours.

CIA grans

I love the security random words/letters you have to put in to post a comment sometimes. This one came up today. Made me think of CIA Grandmas.. showing photos of their many grandchildren. My Mum does that *sigh*

I hope CIA Grans never becomes a movie. I don't want credit for the idea if it does.

Total Recall / Harry Potter Mashup

I love IT Crowd

Animating something takes my mind off things. This was just a quick animation (took an hour though) but it cheered me up. This is how I see The IT Crowd. Awesome people who rock out. Or atleast rock at what they do. IT-ing and bringing on the comedy. I can't wait for the show to return.

Cookie Monster overdose

I made m&m cookies today. The weather is so crappy that it's bringing everyone down. Dare you to still frown when you look at my (above) Cookie monster animation. Om nom nom nom

Is Mr Sheen really Mr Rudd?

You can't tell me that Mr Sheen doesn't look like the Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd! Then again.. Mr Rudd looks like the Milkybar kid and even an icecream.. hehe. This animation came after I commented that when I read that someone was using a can of Mr Sheen, I thought of Charlie Sheen. How I ended up with Kevin Rudd God only knows.

I've got a twisted sense of humor

My sense of humor doesn't make everyone laugh. Sometimes people are shocked. Sometimes people snicker as if they can't allow themselves to laugh. Sometimes people don't laugh at all. My Mum doesn't always laugh at my jokes. Sad really. My Mum can be really funny when she wants to be. She has to be in that mood where she just lets loose and says what's on her mind. My Mum has the worst road rage too. She swears. Trust me, she doesn't normally do that. My Mum was the strict 'don't swear' type of Mother. My brother and I couldn't even call each other stupid. Calling your little brother stupid or dumb is a God given right! HA.

Anyway. Enjoy my silly sense of humor..

A football mascot ate my baby!

I found the original on an image search.. saved it.. animated the bitey bitey.. laughs happened. I want to start a series of images with babies/kids crying at mascots. I wish I still had the photos of me as a kid crying and trying to get away from a giant mascot Freddo Frog and then crying at age 7 at a Caramello Koala waving at me. Classic. You'd think I'd be scared of chocolate now.

I like zombies. Thriller was made during my year of birth so it's sacred to me.

Don't get me wrong. I loved Michael Jackson's music but during the 90s he took a weird turn and the jokes about him will forever fill comedy shows and I couldn't resist making some mildly unoffensive joke gifs.
