The other DC Chess Collection contest (with a very, very cool prize)

So, as you've hopefully seen, I'm giving away the DC Chess Collection - - you can win a subscription by designing a movie poster based on your favorite DC Comics characters.

I'm also one of the judges on another contest related to the DC Chess Collection, which features a truly incredible prize:
Have you got what it takes to create an Iconic Cover?

DC Comics have always been synonymous with creating some of the most compelling and engaging stories in the world. As well as the team of talented writers behind each issue, there’s an equally talented team of artists that bring the stories to life.

To celebrate the launch of the DC Chess Collection, DC Comics and Eaglemoss are offering fans a chance to share their passion for DC Comics’ rich heritage with their newest competition; Iconic Covers - Your Take.

Armed with whatever creative medium you have at your disposal; digital, video, photography, modelling or anywhere in-between, we want you to re-create your favourite DC Comics Cover of all time in your own inimitable way. Travel through the history of DC and re-create iconic moments that have helped to spur the imaginations of comic book fans for generations.

The entries will be submitted before an expert panel of judges that include DC artists such as Jamie Grant, the biggest comic blogs in the world and many more TBA. They’ll use their vast expertise to help select the final shortlist that will go to the public vote where ultimately one victor will come out on top.

The Prize
To celebrate this terrific competition we have a once-in-a-lifetime prize to accompany it – a custom made figurine made to your exact specification by master sculptor Toby White.

Over the years Toby has worked on numerous DC figurine collections and knows exactly how to capture imaginations and turn them into something truly bespoke. Whether you want to re-imagine yourself as a superhero, create a custom sculpt of your favourite character, or do something totally unique, Toby can make it happen. This truly is a money-can’t-buy prize!

To find out more about the competition and to submit your own entries head to Facebook.
